How Dangerous ideas
can change the
world…
Love…
Every human being knows the feeling of love, but this is not the problem. The problem in the world today, is not lack of love, but love of wealth (Greed), love of one’s country (Nationalism) and love of control (Imperialism). Therefore, before we talk about love, we must talk about what love we need to establish, to what purpose; and using what method.
Love of our fellow human beings is not the purpose of life, but merely one means to worship our creator, Allah (swt). Therefore, it is the ultimate objective that we seek, the worship of Allah (swt) that can bring about the solution for all things. This is because Allah (swt) has given to us a complete way of life that gives us solutions for all life’s problems and drives us to refine our actions and help us, the Islamic Ummah, to become an enlightened civilisation.
When we look around us, we see that humans generally have love for one another; it is a characteristic that most people develop in their childhood through human contact. But unfortunately, it is the Western Ideology of Secularism and Capitalism, which perverts the natural expression of humanity and overtakes it with the desire for material benefit and satisfaction. Upon this secular ideology, the west has built a entire way of life that necessitates them to raid, loot and plunder the four corners of the globe and concentrate the wealth to such a degree that 5% of the population own 80% of the wealth.
Such inequality is only natural from man made ideologies that do not understand the purpose of existence and do not correctly cater for human nature. Only Islam can deliver a fair economic system, which will provide for the poor and needy and generate wealth for everyone, such that there will be no need for humanity to fight each other for resources, but rather join hands in co-operation and mutual concern and respect.
Peace…
War is the result of injustice. And injustice comes about from the unfair and unjust western systems of Secularism and Democracy that seek to pit one group of humans against the other. We need only look towards Kenya and Iraq to see the shambles, that is the application of democracy. Humans have fought over competing interests and no amount of slogans or new age ‘hippy’ style campaign will change anything, unless we implement a REAL solution that will bring true peace to the world. Islam offers us this alternative that allows us to implement a law revealed by Allah (swt) that treats all humans as having the same interests. And therefore all humans beings can unite under an Islamic system that will deliver true peace and establish a state of Islam (peace).
Justice…
One of the highest concepts in Islam is justice. But we see all around the rampant injustice of a world devoid of guidance. How can humans be just if they live by systems, cultures and country’s that require them to be unjust, just to survive? How are we able to remedy this? Can Islam solve this problem or is it just a religion like any other, which preaches morals but lacks any mechanism to implement them in human society?
The answer is that Islam is a complete way of life. It is an ideology that contains a specific viewpoint to life (the Establishment of man’s purpose in life in the affairs of life) which forms an ideal and a basis for human society, whose solutions to human problems naturally and purposefully manifest themselves in the forms of Political, Economical, Ruling, Educational and Social systems as well as Universal Rights for Humanity. Islam came to dismantle all barriers (such as nationalism) that exist between the Sons of Adam, thus Muslims do not recognise nationalism- that is why we wish to solve the problems of all peoples and nations by inviting them to a better way of life than the one there are currently suffering and living under. Thus Islam is inclusive and not exclusive because it seeks to ultimately solve the problems of all peoples and nations, Muslim and nonmuslim.
The best way to show our love for our fellow man, establish peace and champion the cause of justice, is to strive to revive the Deen of Islam in the Muslim Ummah, call for the implementation of the Quran as a basis for our society, and establish the laws of Islam, that will organise and direct our lands with resolute purpose and enlightenment. The Muslim Ummah must rise and call for an Islamic State, that will unite our disparate and fractured countries, defend the Muslims and Non-muslims for the global injustices that plague humanity, and take the Deen of Islam to liberate all the world from the darkness they are living in. This solution is none other than the Islamic khilafah (Caliphate).
“He (Allah) has sent His messenger with the guidance and the true Deen (way of life), and will make it dominate all (other) Deens (ways of life), even though the mushrikeen detest it” (Quran 61:9)
